Project Description:

Dissatisfied with the arched doors and golden oak cabinetry, these homeowners were ready to update the entire first floor of their home. It was clear that refacing was the perfect option to transform their tired kitchen into a timeless classic. First, refacing material was made from beautiful cherry wood and then finished with a medium brown walnut stain and black glaze. (Glazing is an accent stain applied over the entire finish, then hand-wiped away leaving a “hang up” of light to dark tones in areas of detail such as corners, deep grooves, and wood grains.) Then, square raised panel doors added to the richness. Finally, an all-new island was designed for more seating and storage. Now this family will enjoy their revitalized home for years!
