The Comfort Process
We know a kitchen remodel project can be intimidating. Our team of trusted professionals will help you navigate the process and take care of your project from start to finish. Relax, and remodel with Comfort.
Discovery
Initial discovery usually begins with a phone call. Our team is eager to learn about the pain-points of your kitchen and hear your ideas and dreams to improve the space. We’ll discuss general project timelines and budget. Together, we determine if Comfort Remodel is a good fit for your project.
In-Person Consultation
An in-person consultation with one of our designers is the next step. If this appointment takes place in your home, the designer can assess your space and provide an estimated cost for your project.
Our Design Service Agreement process is a bit more involved. If you opt for this service, the designer will take measurements and photos of your space. In a follow up appointment, the designer will present project drawings, a detailed project scope, and cost.
Selections and Planning
Part of the excitement of a remodel project is selecting finish and colors, cabinet style, tile, and countertops. During this phase, selections and plans are finalized. No need to be stressed about what to choose; your designer is ready to assist!
Scheduling
As you are finalizing selections, our team begins building the construction schedule for your project. We utilize an online tool that enables you to see the work schedule for your home. You’ll know how to plan your days and weeks accordingly before the project begins.
Construction
It’s DEMO Day and this is when the fun begins. Your Project Manager will kick-off construction and get your project underway. He will make periodic visits to your home to ensure the project is progressing correctly and on-schedule. If you have questions, your Project Manager will be your main point of contact going forward.
Punch List
Approximately 3-5 days prior to project completion, you will have the opportunity to review the remodeled space with your Project Manager to confirm the area meets our quality standards and that we have installed all selections. A written punch list will be created for any items or details that need attention. We will resolve items noted on the punch list; most items being completed in 3-5 days.
Completed Project
Upon completion of written punch list items, your Project Manager will conduct a Project Presentation. This confirms the space is complete and ready for you to enjoy. In addition, the Project Manager may review homeowner maintenance suggestions for materials installed in your remodeled space.
